For someone facing the challenge of becoming an ALS caregiver, there are many paths to gaining the knowledge and experiences they need to care for someone with the disease. Finding accurate and timely information can play a key role in equipping those impacted by an ALS diagnosis with the skills they need to provide the best possible quality care.
We create workshops and presentations designed to help you learn more about clinics, equipment, resources, and navigating the disease. We host a recurring series called Navigating ALS for newly diagnosed patients as well as caregiver and youth-specific workshops.
Through workshops, therapy groups, and children and youth-specific resources, we can help young people navigate the disease and support parents in caring for the emotional well-being of their children.
The Caregiver Program provides caregivers with everything they need to be successful, including workshops, support groups, and connections to caregiver-specific resources.
