The ALS Association, thanks to support from the Greater New York Chapter, has awarded $525,000 to four projects through its Milton Safenowitz Postdoctoral Fellowship program, which supports the development of new scientists in the field of ALS research.
The projects we fund are all selected by a panel of independent experts through a rigorous, structured and deliberative review process. These experts have specific knowledge, skills and experience related to the focus of the grant or award. Funding is then allocated based on milestones.
