April 2022, at 60yrs old my sister caught the RSV virus and later in the months after her speech changed to a slur. She started visiting her medical doctor and was referred to neurologist. She had gone to a couple different neurologists in 2023, however this year in April she was told that she has ALS. We also found out that a first cousin on our dad's side of the family was diagnosed with ALS as well. In my sister's case, the condition must be hereditary, because two brother's daughters have been diagnosis with the condition. I have researched different neurologists and discovered Dr Richard Bedlack. I would love for my sister to be able to visit the clinic for the reversal clinical study. What must we do to make this happen? I do believe that there is something out there, which can reverse ALS and is willing to help my sister battle this awful condition.
