Prizes
Your name will be entered into the prize drawing every time you complete one of the tasks. Your name will also be entered into the Grand Prize Drawing. There will be a drawing each week for a prize winner. Since there are four challenges this week, you have the opportunity to get your name entered into the drawing four times!
We selected prizes this year that can be useful for all households, and can be helpful for people living with ALS.

Recruitment (August 1-7)
Complete any of the following:
- Add at least 5 members to your Walk team
- Send invitation email via Fundraising Center
- Share your team link on social media asking people to register with your team*
- Do the Ice Bucket Challenge with your team or share your video from 2014 and include your team link asking people to register*
Why I Walk (August 8-14)
Complete any of the following:
- Share your “Why I Walk” story*
- Post a photo of your ALS Hero*
- Update your personal page via Fundraising Center
Fundraising (August 15-21)
Complete any of the following:
- Raise at least $250 this week
- Have raised at least $1,000 already
- Make a self-donation (any amount)
- Are you planning a bake sale, bike ride, etc? Share your fundraising plans on social media*
- Sending fundraising emails via Fundraising Center
- Change your charity to our Chapter on AmazonSmile. Take a screen shot and send it to intern@alsaohio.org
Walk to Defeat ALS (August 22-28)
Complete any of the following:
- Post your team’s t-shirt design*
- Share a photo of your Walk yard sign or if you don’t have one yet, make one*
- Share a picture wearing a past Walk shirt*
*Please tag the post with our hashtag #ALSANorthernOH and make the post public.
Complete a weekly challenge to receive one entry into the weekly drawing. There will be a drawing each week for a prize winner. These winners will be entered into a grand prize drawing at the end of the month.
