Dr. Robert (Bob) Conn, M.D. was a dedicated friend, family patriarch and physician who practiced medicine for 50 years. Bob was diagnosed with ALS in December 2009 and died on August 6, 2011. As a physician who was concerned and loved to care for others, Bob passed the torch and came to rely heavily on the compassion of the caregivers of the Keith Worthington Chapter of the ALS Association. Knowing the peace and comfort of his final months were in large part because of the contributions of the ALS Association, Bob desired a fund be created that specifically focused on providing care to those afflicted by ALS especially compassionate care. Just as treating a person with ALS is a team effort, so is raising awareness and funds to care for others.
