Kelly’s involvement with the ALS Association began when his brother-in-law was diagnosed with the disease in 2016. He began serving on the Board of Directors for the ALS Association in Texas during 2018 and became President three years later.

Kelly is the Chief Executive Officer of Harvey-Cleary Builders in Houston, Texas, a national commercial General Contractor with over 800 employees, and five offices, and has built projects in 27 states in the U.S.

He started with the company in 1993 as an Assistant Project Manager and has been involved with multibillion-dollar projects throughout his career. In the past, he has typically managed large construction teams, giving direction on resolving problems and maintaining the safety, quality, schedule, and integrity of complex projects. In his current position, Kelly is responsible for the overall safety, quality, and success of the company.

Kelly has served in various capacities on the boards of many organizations over the years including the Greater Houston Partnership, Associated General Contractors of America, Rice University’s Design Alliance, and many other non-profit groups.

Kelly and his wife Charlotte have two grown children whom they enjoy spending their free time with. Kelly is most proud that his family has contributed to the ALS Association in many ways over the years by creating fundraising opportunities at their schools and in their communities.
